She represented Jammu and Kashmir at the national level and earned a bronze medal for her efforts. At the national championships in Hyderabad, she won the gold medal in the under 21-30kg category. Since then, there was no going back, having won three gold medals and taken her state's name to new heights. In 2020, she won four gold medals in a row in local championships back home.

Pakeeza Qureshi wants to inspire women around her to take up the sport as it is highly beneficial. Her mother is her strength supporting her throughout ever cheering her. She strongly believes that learning Martial Arts has taught her to be stronger and advise girls to learn karate to prtect themselves.
